This notepad++ video tutorial will show you how to start Notepad++ from command line. If you are predominantly working in Windows command prompt (CMD) environment, there may be a time when you would like to open Notepad quickly from windows cmd. This video shows three such ways to open notepad++ from cmd. Option 1: Add Notepad++ in the System Path. (Needs Admin Right). Add C:Program Files (x86)Notepad++ to your PATH environment variable. You can also use &filename&to open any file in notepad++ from cmd. Option 2: Type ¬epad++&This option is useful, if you don&have admin rights or if you don&want to clutter your PATH system variable.
