Aqua Lung i100 Dive Computer - Battery Replacement (TUTORIAL)

The Aqua Lung Dive Computer i100 is the first dive-computer of Dive Monster Jr. It was given to her by DM Sr and did 2 years of great work. On the last dive in Dauin, it died on me and it was time for a battery replacement. When Dive Monster Sr. buys stuff, he always keeps in mind, that we are in the Philippines on an Island, where it is hard to get stuff from the shelf. So, he always checks beforehand, if things can be serviced and maintained without ordering online and waiting seven hundred and a half years until it may arrive. The Aqua Lung i100 has a CR2450 battery, which is even available in Dumaguete. While nobody knows how long the batteries are on the shelf, at least they don´t need to be ordered. While it is recommended by Aqua Lung to buy a full replacement kit, it was the first battery change, and as the dive computer was never opened and always was handled with care, the O-ring should still be in great condition. Therefore, a simple battery change should do the trick without causing problems. Dive Monster Jr. has to learn how to take care of her equipment, so she had to do the battery replacement herself.
