Behringer SB 78A Handheld Condenser Microphone Review / Test

Today, I have the Behringer SB 78A Handheld Condenser Microphone in the studio. I have been extremely excited to try this microphone out because I am a BIG FAN of handheld condenser microphones! A good handheld condenser microphone has some great benefits such as: rich condenser sound, great build quality, they are often compact like a dynamic mic. With this mic being relatively inexpensive, especially for a handheld condenser, I was curious to see how it would perform! Finding inexpensive and good dynamic mics is relatively easy, there are a ton of them! There aren&nearly as many handheld condenser mics that are cheap... So needless to say, I had very high hopes for this mic considering I loved the Behringer BA 85A and have been a long time fan of the XM8500, and I would love to see another good budget handheld condenser mic on the market. I won&give away my verdict here, but be sure to check out the testing and audio samples and see if this is right for you! Every person has different expectations of audio gear.
