How to replace the Starter on MK5 VW Jetta equipped with Manual Transmission

In this Video you will see what troubleshgooting process I did to identify the cause of the No-Starting condition on this car. The problem ended up being a Failed Starter, and it was caused by an Oil Leak that developed at the Vacuum Pump. The VW OEM Part Number for The Starter Motor for MK5&equipped with Manual Transmission is: 02Z911023J The Bosh Remanufactured Starter Motor part Number is: 02Z911023JXKT It appears that these Vacuum Pumps are prone to leak and on my next Video I will be showing how to install a Vacuum Pump Delete Kit for the 2.5 L Engine to cure this problem once and Forever on this Engine so It doesn&ruin another Starter. #Howstuffinmycarworks
