Ibanez DDL Delay 1985 vintage, Looping, Kona Coast Beach Hawaii

Here we have an example of me wacka-chacking away using the venerable Ibanez DDL delay pedal. Manufactured in the mid 80&the DDL is one of my favorite delays. With a max delay time of only 1.8 seconds (which was huge for the day) one could actually do some looping...as evidenced here. The quality of the repeats and the lush long decay is what I love about this guy. Using just a single pass of acoustic guitar I have the delay time maxed and the repeats just short of maxed - they seem to fade out forever....but not quite, which is key. Of course I¬ playing anything remarkable here -- just trying to get some rhythms happening. Fun to do.
