?I recently purchased a Shure MV7 microphone to use for live streams, but I also wanted to use it for my Icom IC-7300. The Shure MV7 has an XLR output as well as a USB output, so it was ideal for what I wanted to use it for. But I ran into some troubles with noise and buzz when connected to the 7300. In this video I show exactly what I had to build and how it goes together to get the microphone to work. This should work for any XLR connected microphone you have. Disclaimer: I bear no responsibility for any damage to your radio, microphone or equipment. Check your model and check for voltage on the mic pin before connecting!
