Piccadilly Line Trains On The District Line

From 26th to 30th December 2013 District Line track works resulted in buses replacing Richmond & Wimbledon trains and Piccadilly Line trains replacing Ealing Broadway trains. Between Hammersmith and Acton Town stations *most* Piccadilly Line 1973 Tube stock trains travelled on District Line tracks and called at all stations. This film shows the Piccadilly Line 1973 Tube stock trains travelling on tracks normally used by District Line trains at Stamford Brook, Turnham Green, Chiswick Park and Ealing Broadway stations. In addition, some Piccadilly Line trains using their normal tracks are seen at Stamford Brook and Chiswick Park (the latter passing another Piccadilly Line train just after it left the station). Also seen at Ealing Broadway is a Central Line 1992 Tube stock train and a First GreatWestern HST.
