Front Crankshaft Seal DIY (No Special Tools) - BMW N55 Engine Rebuild Project Part 8

If you are tired of buying special BMW tools for every project, this is the video for you. I replace the front crankshaft seal on my BMW N55 engine without using anything but common tools everyone has in their garage and my old seal. For this replacement, you will need a new seal (make sure it&the correct one for your year), sealant and a primer to make sure that sealant sticks well and no oil comes out in the future. Depending on whether your engine is in or out, it make be an easy or a little harder job, but nothing that can&be handled in a few hours at home.
