2023 Volkswagen Lavida XR in-depth Walkraround The Lavida XR, a new sedan introduced by the automaker in China, is positioned below the Lavida in their lineup. Sharing its platform with the VW Virtus, which is already available in India and Brazil, the Lavida XR closely resembles the Virtus in terms of exterior design, with only minor variations. These include a distinct grille pattern, a chrome-infused lower bumper intake, and a market-specific color palette offering options in turquoise, blue, red, white, or black. Notable exterior features of the Lavida XR include standard full-LED headlights, dark-tinted taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and the choice to add an optional sunroof. Measuring 4,561 mm (179.6 inches) in length, with a wheelbase of 2,651 mm (104.3 inches), the Lavida XR positions itself below the Lavida and Lavida Plus models, despite sharing a similar name. Built on the MQB A0-IN architecture, which is also utilized by the Skoda Slavia, the Lavida XR stands as a distinct model on its own. Under the hood, the Lavida XR is equipped with a four-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine capable of producing 108 horsepower (81 kW / 110 PS) and 141 Nm (104 lb-ft) of torque.
