108,632 views 13 Aug 2024 hey everybody, sending lots of love to all of u. had a moment this past week getting a little overwhelmed seeing things start to grow so fast. i&been playing trumpet since i was in fifth grade, i started producing and making music when i was 18. one of those really really hard heartbreaks that force you to find something that gives you peace. havn&stopped making music since. i&had so many beautiful moments playing music throughout my life. i&played in orchestras, jazz bands, funk bands, toured with pop soul groups, recorded with so many different kinds of artists, been in lots of different little musical universes. something about these meditations though feel so pure, detached from any scene or genre or person. its also a little nerve racking sharing something so personal and seeing people connect to it so much. at some point a few days ago i was really overthinking, what if the meditations start sounding bad, what if they&no longer meditative? people have really left some beautiful messages about the ways these sounds have helped them, i started getting anxious i&be letting everyone down. but at a certain point my thoughts reached a place of reframing these meditations. at my best, each week i can provide you all with this offering, it&never be perfect but it&always be what i can show up with that week and i just know with art, sound, music there&so little control. thats what makes it so great, so mysterious, and endlessly able to grow and...
