Genesis - Live Montreal, Canada 8mm April 20, 1974

Very short clips of Watcher of the Skies, Dancing With The Moonlit Knight, Musical Box, Epping Forest, and Supper&Ready Discovered by Philippe Legault while looking for Pink Floyd films, this is yet another film from Montreal 1974, this one is dark and unstable and often out of focus, but we have improved this as much as reasonably possible. I stabilized different portions of this film using several different methods, but there is always the tradeoff of losing too much of the image, destabilizing the film grain, and the constantly blinking lights in the dark. But compared to the source which should only be watched while taking Dramamine, it is much more enjoyable now. I cleaned the image for spots which show up often in very dark films as the transfer searches for an image. I also interpolated to a high frame rate, but the result is only a minor improvement. The audio was synchronized by Ikhnaton to the soundboard show from the next night, since the available audio from the 20th is so poor and the clips in this film are so short, some lasting less than a second. The match is very close but not exact. All that being said, there are some nice moments here and there.
