Chery Explore 06 Exterior and Interior, offroad test drive

Positioned as an all-wheel-drive compact SUV, the Chery Explore 06 marks the first model of the Explore series, and also represents Chery Auto’s foray into the realm of light off-road SUVs. With dimensions of 4,538mm in length, 1,898mm in width, and 1,680mm in height, coupled with a 2,672mm wheelbase, the Explore 06 showcases a standard compact SUV size. Inside, the Explore 06 boasts a futuristic cockpit design with an enveloping structure and a futuristic super-sense interior, creating a blend of minimalist aesthetics and technological ambiance. The T-shaped symmetrical layout of the center console incorporates features such as HUD (Head-Up Display), a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, and a vertically placed 13.2-inch central touchscreen, serving as the foundation for intelligent features. The HMI 5.0 digital interactive interface enhances the infotainment system with a plethora of app functionalities. The infotainment system is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 chip to ensure smooth operation. Under the hood, the Explore 06 houses Chery&Kunpeng 1.6TGDI engine, generating a maximum power of 197 horsepower and peak torque of 290 N·m. The power is transmitted through a Getrag 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, combined with an all-scenario intelligent control all-wheel-drive system.
