2025 BYD Qin L DM-i Unveiled: 2100 kilometers Combined Driving Range!! On May 28th, BYD introduced the Qin L DM-i, their first car with the advanced fifth-generation DM hybrid technology. This system boasts the world&highest engine thermal efficiency at 46.06% and the lowest fuel consumption at 2.9L/100km, promising exceptional efficiency and extended range. The Qin L DM-i is a sleek sedan blending modern design with advanced tech. Its exterior features a bold front grille, sharp "dragon crystal" LED headlights, and a sporty fastback silhouette. Inside, it has a driver-focused cockpit with a large central console screen (12.8 or 15.6 inches) and a multi-function steering wheel. High-end models offer electric seat adjustment, ventilation, and heating. The plug-in hybrid system combines a 1.5L engine with an electric motor and BYD’s blade lithium iron phosphate battery. This setup offers a potential combined driving range of up to 2,100 kilometers. Battery options include a lower capacity battery with an 80km electric range or a larger one with a 120km range, both based on CLTC conditions. At the launch event in Xi&BYD also unveiled the Seal 06 DM-i, the twin car to the Qin L, using the same platform.
