Houdini Open CL Pyro sim: Ryzen 5950X vs 16" M2 MacBook Pro Max

Ryzen 5950X (16 core) is the main desktop workstation I use for daily Houdini work. It has 128GB of RAM, and a RTX 3060 with 12GB VRAM. I wanted to see how the 2023 16 inch M2 MacBook Pro Max with 96GB of unified memory (MacOS Ventura) holds up in a GPU accelerated pyro sim going head to head against the desktop 5950X. I tested the exact same Houdini file with the Minimal OpenCL Pyro Solver geometry node. I thought this would be a good test because the Minimal OpenCL solver stresses the CPU as well as the GPU. MacOS version of Houdini is the arm64 version for the Apple Silicon. Both the PC and the MacBook were running H19.5.640 I ran the test several times to make sure there were no anomalies. I also tested the MacBook with battery power only as well as plugged in. The result was... enlightening.
