Marshall JTM30 sound check

Picked up this English made circa 1995 JTM30 for cheap in non-working order. No sound, had an odd bias mod that didn’t seem to make sense, so it was removed. Back to fixed bias, but with a lower safer zener diode bias ( around 55% on 5881). Also had a sloppy preamp tube socket installed, which was replaced with the correct socket. All electrolytic caps replaced due to 25yrs old. Finally, the diode rectifier was toast, and didn’t allow any current to get to the pre-amp tubes. Back in action now!
