In this video, we show you how to create and edit reports. Learn how to work effectively in PolyWorks with loads of tips & tricks. Learn about PolyWorks, Scanners, Metrology, and more at our website: Below is the transcript of the video: AFTER COLLECTING DATA AND CREATING CONTROL VIEWS AND/OR TABLES AND SNAPSHOTS, A REPORT CAN BE CREATED. IN THE TREE VIEW, RIGHT CLICK ON THE REPORT HEADER AND SELECT CREATE FORMATTED REPORT. IN THE REPORT PROPERTIES BOX THAT OPENS, FILL IN THE NECESSARY INFORMATION, HIT APPLY, THEN CLOSE. THE INFORMATION WILL BE POPULATED IN YOUR FORMATTED REPORT. NOTE: WE HAVE A EMI TEMPLATE SHOWN HERE. IF THAT INFORMATION NEEDS TO BE EDITED, GO TO FILE IN THE REPORT EDITOR WINDOW, SELECT PROPERTIES, THEN EDIT THE INFORMATION AS NEEDED. NEXT, IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO ADD A SNAPSHOT OF THE PART ON THE COVER PAGE… OPEN THE ITEMS TAB IN THE REPORT TAB IN THE TREE VIEW. CLICK ON THE SNAPSHOT AND DRAG IT INTO THE REPORT. THE SNAPSHOT CAN THEN BE CROPPED BY EITHER DOUBLE CLICKING ON IT OR RIGHT CLICKING ON IT AND SELECTING CROP. THE IMAGE CAN BE RESIZED ON THE PAGE BY CLICKING AND DRAGGING ON THE POINTS AROUND THE SNAPSHOT. ALSO, THE SNAPSHOT CAN BE ALIGNED ON THE PAGE BY RIGHT CLICKING ON THE SNAPSHOT, SELECTING ALIGN ON PAGE, AND THEN SELECTING HOW IT SHOULD BE ALIGNED.
