The Girl From Ipanema - improv, electric bass guitar

This tune was a bit of a challenge, not only harmonically, but also because it really requires the phrasing to be melodic. (The same could be said for any tune, but I found it especially true for this one.) While recording, I applied an octave up effect only to find that the dry bass was not captured and instead, I ended up with a squirrelly sounding bass track. As an attempt to salvage the take, I have applied a low pass filter to the track.
