This is a two part examination of Russia under the last tsar, Nicholas II, this part dealing with policies leading to the Revolution of 1905, such as fast industrialization under the leadership of Prime Ministe Witte, imperialism in the Far East leading to the Russo-Japanese war, which sparked the Revolution of 1905.
