This is a special edition of fretless guitar minutes. I am playing a new special order Altamira N200+ fretless guitar made personally for me according to my specifications. This is not an official Altamira product yet nor is it listed on their website. However, if you are looking for an affordably priced fretless classical guitar to jump into the world of fretless guitar this is a great instrument, and fills a need in the market. I had them take their standard solid cedar top N200 and add a Fishman Clasica piezo pickup, add fret dots up to the neck joint (I know fret markers are a concern for new fretless guitarists), and set the action to my preference. The result is an easy playing and resonant fretless classical guitar. If you are interested in purchasing one of these please go to the G&G Guitars website at: In this video I am using the Fishman pickup, plugged into an acoustic guitar amp, and have set the amplified sound to about 30% of the acoustic volume, just to slightly augment the acoustic sound of the instrument, and have added a bit of reverb. (Strymon Blue Sky). It is recorded live into a Zoom Q2n 4K recorder with no additional processing or editing in order to accurately capture the sound of the guitar.
