Peavey CS 800 (1977) First Edition This amplifier still uses all its original parts with the exception of the fan. This amplifier predates DDT hence, the word “Overload” embroidered on the faceplate instead of “Compression” or “DDT.” This amplifier is nearly 40 years old. It took me 15 minutes to test this amplifier and, it remained Luke-warm throughout the whole ordeal. The Tektronix offered more heat than the Peavey.
