More recently, I got my hands on the GBS-Control AIO, a brilliant upgrade to Tvia&Trueview5725 line of video upscalers which transforms a simple video converter into a 15KHz/31KHz beast! Props to Tinker Plunk, amoore2600 and Zerohimself for putting out this variant in particular as it is feature-rich and incredibly easy to use once you get the hang of it. I had previously uploaded a playthrough of Burnout on GameCube and, remembering what fun I had playing it, I decided to give it another go on a different machine - this time the original Playstation 2 version from late 2001. While certainly less refined compared to the better Xbox and GameCube ports, oh and ofcourse it&sequels, Burnout remains to be one of the most accessible racers out there. There is a sense of speed to the raw thrills from this one that make for exceptional gameplay. With original track design and a unique gimmick that favours avoiding crashes, besides racking up points based on how dangerous you drive, Burnout is elevated to one of the best, a natural fit for the system. Needless to say, I would recommend this to those who have not to put the time into Burnout as it is real easy to find and still costs next to nothing to buy.
