Deep within the electronic bowels of YouTube, beyond the reach of sensible content decisions, where the algorithm dares not tread, you will find a twisted void of improbable and ill-advised videos, where an impossibly popular format meets the most improbable of source material. You have entered the realm of the Unlikely Cypher. I say this fully in the knowledge that I actually started this project in 2021, but that’s entirely besides the point. I have always loved the cypher format. A whole troupe of creators coming together on a track with a shared theme. I loved the idea of organising one myself but no good cypher ideas I had felt like a right fit for the channel. Then an epiphany. Perhaps the best cypher ideas for a channel like mine were the worst cypher ideas. And so the idea of ‘Unlikely Cyphers’ was born! I hope for this to be a recurring series. Not a regular thing, but as often as I can fit them between my main music video projects! I’m a HUGE fan of The Muppets and have been for as long as I remember.
