In this video I teardown the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. I start with an unboxing, then get into the teardown. This controller is fairly easy to disassemble with phillips screws holding it together. It uses the exact same battery as the Nintendo 3DS handheld consoles and those batteries are good enough to get a lot of gameplay out of them. I find a lot of modular components (like the battery, analog sticks, buttons and plastics) which means that replacing individual components is not too hard. Nintendo uses the new style of rumble motors, similar to what is found on the JoyCon controllers. Overall this controller seems to be well made and easy to take apart and put back together. There is very little adhesive holding things together and it uses the same screw type for the entire controller.
