G3-1/2 Bulb Identification

This Video demonstrates how to identify a G3-1/2 Globe Bulb using an everyday ruler. G-3-1/2 Miniature Bulbs are miniature bulbs that range in voltage between two point four seven (2.47) and twenty-eight (28) volts. The letter G in the designation G-3-1/2 denotes that the bulb is GLOBE shaped and that the glass envelope has a Maximum Outer Diameter (M.O.D.) of three and one half eighths of an inch or 0.463 inches which is 11.76 millimeters. All bulbs in the G3-1/2 category have a Maximum Overall Length (M.O.L.) of 0.94 inches and a Light Center Length (L.C.L) of between 0.50 and 0.72 inches. All G3-1/2 miniature bulbs have a S-2,C-2R,C-2V or a C-2F Filament Design.
