Individual videos. In this video I take a Fishman Presys Blend 301 from the package arriving in the post to being installed in an acoustic guitar and then tested. The Fishman Presys Blend 301 has a fairly unusual feature in that it has a microphone built into it which can be mixed with the sound from the Piezo pickup. The ability to blend between microphone sound and pickup sound is what gives the Blend it&name. Before I can test the sound of the piezo pickup and preamp I have to fit it into a guitar, so I go through every step to demonstrate how to fit a piezo pickup into an acoustic guitar. The Fishman Presys Blend 301 has many more features that make it a great preamp but it has one major flaw . . . (see the video for details). After installing the preamp and doing tests over a couple of weeks I would still recommend the Fishman Presys Blend 301, because once fitted this is an excellent device.
