How to remove paper texture from scanned artwork in Photoshop

Learn a fairly simple way to remove a texture from the background of a scanned image. Works very well for any image on textured paper, a watercolour painting or pencil sketch, for example. Essential for preparing something for professional printing as an art print or greetings card where a clear background is required for the best results. Demonostrated in Photoshop, but would also work in a similar editing programme like Affinity Photo, Gimp etc. Please note, this technique will require the original artwork or image to be scanned and a scanner.
