FreeCAD: Creating a spiral from Part WB & pocketing into a pad (Removing material 1) Beginners Guid

Exploring three ways of removing material in a spiral shape from an object. The first method consists of creating a closed sketch from a spiral created from the part workbench. We then utilise the draft workbench to convert our geometry to a sketch and then merge and close the sketch in the sketcher workbench. From there we venture into the part design workbench to create a padded base stock. We then attach the sketch to the base stock and pocket out a spiral shape.
