John Suhr and his team are known for their unprecedented precision, and that is exactly the overlap that Mateus Asato was looking for with his playing. Together they created the Suhr Mateus Asato T. A modern guitar, with a traditional look. The ash body has binding around the top, and has gold hardware that combines beautifully with the deep black finish. The Bakelite pickguard is a nod to the early Telecasters, and the baked AAA Birdseye Maple neck and fingerboard compliment the elegant black body and headstock. This 2022 Suhr Mateus Asato T has light playwear on the body, pickguard and hardware, but is otherwise beautifully clean. The guitar is therefore in excellent condition and comes with a TFOA passport in a hardshell case.
