Android TV / Mi Box S 4K - How to use and why use Sideload Launcher?

The film was made on Android TV v.8 / 9. You can use the manual on a TV with Android TV and on a set-top box with Android TV, e.g. Mi Box S 4k or Nvidia Shield. Sideload Launcher is a completely useless application for some users of Android TV. And I recommend it to everyone, on one condition. That you install applications from outside the official Google Play store, i.e. from .apk files. If you have an older version of Android TV, e.g. 7, you can still use the TV APP REPO application (installation from .APK) to add shortcuts to the application on the HOME screen. If you have a newer version of Android TV, e.g. 8, 9 or 10, then you will not create shortcuts on the HOME screen, you must use lanuchers. Sideload Launcher is the most popular application of this type - it is lightweight, simple and allows you to quickly launch applications whose shortcut has not been added to the HOME screen on Android TV. So I mean applications installed outside of Google Play Store TV from .apk file. If you enter Launcher on Google Play, you will find much more solutions. In addition, if you are using the Mi Box S 4K or other Android TV BOX, you will be able to set the Launcher as the default Launcher for the start-up.
