READ ME! Dust in a Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 18-200mm 1: 3.5-5.6 IS. This video shows how to disassemble the front lens and give access to its inner element. I&sorry for the video being shaky and a bit out of focus, but I think it might help some people see how the lens is disassembled. Too easy! Follow the instructions: Instructions! - Remove the ring on the top of the lens. - Remove the 3 screws. - Very important! Mark the position of the screws on the lens chassis! (When mounting the lens the screws and nuts must all be in the same direction and in the same orientation as when they were disassembled! Only then will the lens be calibrated and centered). - Remove the screws! - Thoroughly clean the entire interior of the lens! (glass and plastic) - Reassemble carefully. - Mount the plastic nuts and tighten the screws in exactly the same order and position that removed them. - Tighten the screws that grip the top and place the ring. -Done. This film was recorded with the following equipment: Canon 1200D and Canon 24mm Lens.
