Icom IC-705 2m D-Star Simplex QSO

It is well know that I am a QRP operator. I didn&purchase the Icom IC-705 because it has D-Star capabilities, it was because it is ideal as my main base station transceiver. As a purist my knowledge of all things Digital through the interweb is limited but a scheduled Simplex QSO using D-Star was arranged with a fellow IC-705 owner.
