Video directed by ZXEROKOOL Mumiy Troll, the Russian most influential cult art-indie rockers who never tired to reinvent themselves present the new video «Speed» – with art-work by ZXEROKOOL. The song is included in their 13th studio album «Malibu Alibi» which was released this October in Europe. The band is currently on its European tour «Pirate Copies». ZXEROKOOL is an artist from Singapore who also created the scenography for the Mumiy Troll tour. He was born in the 80s but raised at the intersection of globalised pop culture - when the Internet and digital life began to emerge. His work often deals with the exploration of modern mythology, mankind’s relationship with the ever-evolving technological construct, and a satirical approach to the remix of icons, symbolisms and visual discourse of the Phygital Age. The video «Speed» has also been specifically designed to optimise the viewing effect on small screens - it actually mimics the feel of a retro handheld game. «With mobile users being a high source of traffic, this was something which I paid particular attention to in the art direction» – says the artist.
