Honda Africa Twin CRF 1000 Oil Change - Manual transmission

Hello everyone and welcome to my channel. This video is a part of basic maintenance of a motorcycle 2017 Honda Africa Twin CRF 1000. I am covering here a procedure of changing oil on that motorcycle. It is pretty simple do do my most riders it requires just a few basic tools, wrenches and sockets but recommend a Torque wrench to follow manufacture torque specs. First step is to run your bike for few minutes 10-15 min should be fine to get the oil warm. Nest you will have to remove your skid place to get access to drain plugs. Once you have the access to the both drain plugs oil pan underneath you can loosen them up and slowly undo I recommend starting with the fron bolt and motorcycle on the side stan drain the oil if your oil pan is big enough you can undo the second one on the rear left side of the engine as well. Let the oil drain completely then You can remove your oil filter located in the front of the engine and again wait for the oil to drain. Once all the oil is out you can start all the tasks in reverse, make sure to install new crush washer under the drain bolts and torque them down to required specs. Then install the Oil filter and again tighten it to manufacture specs. (You can tighten the oil filter as well by hand) as long is firm luge the o&on the oil filter before application. You can now start filling the oil through the fill plug with the filter you will need 4.1 L of oil check your lever on your dipstick, may have to repeat multiple times....
