Great White Sharks

Filmed on GoPro in the summer shallows of Gansbaai, South Africa During the summer months of September through March Great White Sharks are usually found in shallow water (+/-7m) and closer to the shore in an area known as Shark Bay. However, the underwater visibility in Shark Bay is often significantly reduced due to turbulence. We had about 2-3m vis. We dived on the second launch of the day and were fortunate to see sharks as the first launch had had no sightings at all. Such is the unpredictability of nature!
