If Feb. 2020, Husqvarna T540iXP Chainsaws were launched. T540i XP is a very light, top handle, battery operated saw for Arborists. It weights less than the gas version, the T540 XP II. T540i XP has a state of the art brushless electric motor with cooling for more power output. Most importantly, its control unit is a heavy duty robust unit capable of feeding all the power that&needed into the motor even as the battery charge gets depleted. At the 2 minute mark of this video there is a cutting test between the cordless T540iXP and the gas T540 XP II. It takes a 14 seconds to get the gas version going and warmed up, whereas the battery powered one is instantaneously ready. The battery powered version won the race, it was about twice as fast. The BLi 200x battery for Arborists is an upgrade over the predecessor, BLi 200, and the &version has been created specifically for the T540i XP chainsaw. The BLi 200x battery is smaller and has very low weight, keeping the saw as light as possible with extreme mobility, but still offers full output power. It sports a much stronger battery management system and better cable harness, and that combination produces much better power.
