Audeze LCD-2 Closed Bass Test

We begin the step-by-step process of reviewing the LCD-2C. This episode is dedicated to the bass response. I&using a new setup: the NFB 1Amp with the SMSL SU-8 as a balanced amp/dac combo. The headphones are attached using the standard Audeze cable that was included in the box; as far as I know, this cable is not balanced. A balanced cable for the Audeze is on the way. My over all impression of the bass? FANTASTIC. Precise, articulated, firm, and well-separated from all other frequencies. The LCD-2C&do a brilliant job at bass reproduction.
