In response to many requests, here&my piano tutorial for my version of Andante, Andante. To learn how to play the song, I&suggest you watch the video at 0.5 or 0.25 speed. Please note that at this stage it¬ possible to produce sheet music for this as it&an improvised performance. One tip I have for playing this piece in my style is to think of your two hands as covering different instruments, or different "parts" of the song. You¬ice at the start of the first verse, my right hand fingers 1 and 2 are playing the melody, while there&another "part" going on above the melody with fingers 4 and 5. That part is slightly quieter than the melody, so that the melody rings out. Also, remember that particular parts can be played by both hands, for example, the chromatic part at 00:37 where my left hand plays A and Bflat, then the right hand takes over. If you were just playing a piano accompaniment then of course your right hand would play all of that, but since you have to think about the melody as well as the accompaniment, sometimes your hands have to "share" a particular part. Andante, Andante was originally released as a single in 1981 and featured on ABBA&Super Trouper album. It was performed by Lily James for the soundtrack of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. If you find this tutorial useful, please let me know by posting a comment, or post a link to your version of this beautiful song!
