Opening Prayer (World Premiere) Leonard Bernstein, conductor Kurt Ollmann, baritone New York Philharmonic Carnegie Hall December 15, 1986 This work opened the gala concert celebrating the reopening of the newly renovated Carnegie Hall. Other performers included Marilyn Horne, Yo-Yo Ma, Frank Sinatra, Vladimir Horowitz, Issac Stern and Zubin Mehta. The concert was concluded with a performance of Mahler&Resurrection Symphony.
