KROKUS live in Memphis - 1983

Here is some live footage from a May 17, 1983 concert in Memphis. It was the "Headhunter" Tour for KROKUS. The line up was Marc Storace (vocals), Fernando von Arb (lead guitar), Chris von Rohr (bass), Mark Kohler (guitar), and Steve Pace (drums). I recorded this footage with a 1/2" portable Sony SL-2000 Betamax and a Sony single tube HVC-2800 camera. The audio quality is poor as it was from the small camera microphone. Video technology in those days was in its infancy. For the time however, the video quality is quite good. The highlight of the "Headhunter" Tour was the daily smashing of a brand new guitar by Fernando during the encore song, "Headhunter". L D Glover (road manager) came out on stage wearing a hood and wielding a huge battle axe which was offered to Fern, who then whipped the crowd into a frenzy before finally destroying the axe (guitar) with the axe (axe).
