NOTE: The sound you hear in this video is what we heard when we tapped the gas pedal at idle due to a faulty PCV valve, which is unfortunately built in to the plastic intake cover on this vehicle. From what I understand, driving the vehicle with this a failed PCV valve can damage your engine, so if you have this issue, be careful and get it seen to quickly. In our case, we did drive the car to the shop to have it fixed (rather than having it towed), as we&driven it a few days before figuring out there was a problem. --------- ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: Yesterday we noticed that the Touareg just wasn&going as fast as it used to Today we noticed that it has a pretty unhappy noise - this is the noise that happens when you tap the gas pedal. The noise sounds like a combination of air leaking or perhaps a stuck item trying to move in the general area of the throttle body controller (assuming that is what I touch at the end)
