You need the Mystic Hook from Stage 8 to clear this stage. This stage becomes much easier if you don&mind a hit at 2:57. Otherwise, you must keep using the checkpoint until those two spikes get in sync, which is annoying... But I did it to show you it&possible. About this walkthrough: I call it "perfect" because it shows you how to get the 4 possible perfect messages (all purple and red diamonds, no hits or retries) on every stage in the game.
