The Hydrogen Fable [Verse 1] A market in flux, a big money leap, A product to launch while the old system sleeps. The marketing crew, with a gleam in their eyes, Designs color-codes, a brilliant disguise. [Verse 2] First, give each color a meaning to sell, A marketing trick that will work oh so well. Forget chemistry, who even would trace? The rest is just color, an empty, hollow chase. [Verse 3] A prof gives a talk, caught up in a dream, He&stomping his foot, letting off some steam. He shouts that his "grey" one has always been Much greener than any blue you&ever seen. [Verse 4] The key is to act like a learned old sage, And put “hydrogens” on the world&front page. The label&the point, that’s the only real matter, Forgetting that science follows a different pattern. [Verse 5] You&selling a shiny and colorful brand, The most lucrative business in all of the land. But in this mad rush, true science is bent, And Mendeleev&table is poorly misspent. [Moral] The moral is simple, it&brutally clear, The kind of plain truth that you don&want to hear. These &games&that they&playing in here? It&all about money. Yes, that&why we&here. [Finale] But wait, there&one more moral to the tale, You don&have to search far, it will never fail: Every clever guy wants to proudly wear A medal for the wisest, to claim his own share.
