Thanks to an new eager audience found on my last video on the Behringer HA-40R, I am back with a 2nd video! This time I have done my best to show the variety of sounds you can achieve from the HA-40R with either a Stratocaster or a Les Paul style guitar. I have tried to cover a range of style from super clean jazz/blues to crunchy hard rock tones - the HA-40r really does well for such a cheap and affordable solid state amplifier! Most of the sounds heard in this video are captured from that SM57 you can see on the cab. The 2nd half features the HA-40R going through an external guitar cab before taking the Line Out raw AND using Impulse Responses on it to get it sounding better! Post processing has been kept to a minimum as all I did was bump up the gain on the audio and use IRs right at the end where specified. Disclaimer: I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID OR ENDORSED TO DO THIS VIDEO I have bought the Behringer HA-40R with own cashola! Gear Used: - 1990s G&L USA Legacy Stratocaster (fitted with Peter Florance Sweet 56 ST Pickups). - FGN Neo Classic LS30 Les Paul (Stock) Recorded With: - Shure SM57 Dynamic Microphone - Shure SM58 (voice overs) - Zoom Q8n Handy Video Recorder (for audio only) - Samsung S9 (for video only) - Suhr Impulse Responses (taken from their IR Load Box - I think I used one of their V30 ones) Loads of Love, Gabe
