The second quality of verb : They change depending on time of speech. of There are mainly three forms of verbs 1.Form 2.Past Form 3.Past Participle Form Lets take example of verb take. The base form of take is taking. The past form of take is took. And the past participle form of take is taken. Apart from this 3 main forms. There are three others forms. 4. ‘ing’ form It is used when the work is continuing while we we are talking about it. Base Form + ‘ing’ gives this form. Example take becomes taking. 5. s/es form It is used when subject is third person like ‘he, she, it’. Base Form + ‘s/es’. Example take becomes takes here. Note the letter ‘s’ at the end. 6.
