1957 Porsche 356 Speedster Replica by Vintage Speedsters - Review and Drive Bill

*SOLD* There are two mainstream automotive kits/Replicas that make sense - the Porsche Speedster and Shelby Cobra. These kits work because they&easy to remain faithful to the originals - a Speedster shared a platform and many components with a Volkswagen Beetle, and the Cobra was essentially a tube-frame chassis with a light body and big V8 engine - exactly the way both kits come today. Firing up an original Speedster gives you the same air-cooled sounds from the rear you got in the original 356 Speedster - also the same pedals off the floor, the same steering and shifting feel, and very similar brakes. To drive a replica just isn&all that different from driving the original, which is what make these really worthwhile replicas - not to mention the price of getting in a real one.
