Faber-Castell Tk-Fine Vario L Review

In this video I review the beautiful work of art of a pencil, the Faber-Castell Tk-Fine Vario L mechanical pencil. I swear I feel like a king when I write with this beautifully crafted work of art. This is the first pencil I&owned that is actually longer than my Pentel GraphGear 1000 and also to be completely honest this is the nicest pencil that I have ever owned. That being said, it¬ the best. This pencil has a lovely, ribbed-chrome grip that tapers in towards the tip and then flares out at the bottom. Now that may look nice but when it comes to functionality, it&ergonomically incorrect, or to be more accurate, ergonomically unacceptable. Many critics will probably agree that the sleek untextured grip on the Tk-Fine Vario L is one of the worst, if not the worst. Now having said that, I don®ret buying this pencil. I would do it all over again. Now why do I say that, well what I look for in a mechanical pencil is aesthetics, it won&break on me, and well that&about it. Fortunately, ergonomics doesn&make my list when it comes to buying a mechanical pencil. The pencil has a hexagon-shaped barrel which is classic Faber-Castell dark green in color and is made of plastic. The chrome metal grip is round. We also have a very attractive stiff chrome metal clip. Now since this pencil has a mostly metal front build and mostly plastic back build, it is front heavy.
