In recent versions of Ubuntu, the ifconfig command has been deprecated, and the recommended tool for network-related tasks is ip. However, if you still want to install and use ifconfig for some reason, you can do so by installing the net-tools package. Here&how you can install it: Open a terminal and type the following command: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install net-tools Once the installation is complete, you should be able to use the ifconfig command in the terminal. #ifconfig
