Astell&Kern ACRO CA1000T UPDATE on powering on devise issues

Astell & Kern ACRO CA1000T This is the second NEW unit I purchased. I returned the first one because I thought it was defective. It would not power on when I had it plugged into a power source, or if I had the cd ripper plugged into it. After many attempts, I figured out I had to unplug it fully. And only then it would power on properly. I purchased this second unit. It has the same quirk. I wrote Astell & Kern. Their reply, was that I press the power button, the charging symbol appears, then I long press the power button, they said it will power on normally while plugged in. I am asking them to review the video and urging them to try this on one of their units. If their unit powers on while plugged in, maybe they will exchange it for this one. If not, we have a major issue with a DAC that costs over $2000. (UPDATE) Astell & Kern have gotten back to me. They noticed that I had their CD burner plugged into the unit. They found that this was the problem with my unit not turning on. And that an update was needed, but is not available at this time. So, from now on, in order to turn the ACRO on I have to unplug the burner. So, I unplugged the CD burner, and pressed the power button, the battery symbol appears, then changes to full battery symbol, then the A symbol shows up, and lastly the Name on the unit lights up in RED. This process takes a couple of minutes. So, be patient. I still think it is odd that I cannot just turn it on......but other than that I love...
