OpenGD77 on the Baofeng DM-1701

This video shows the OpenGD77 firmware being installed onto my Baofeng DM-1701 for the first time. Thanks go to BD4VOW for letting me the OpenGD77 (MD-380UV) version would run on this radio with some modifications and for supplying the keypad and button mapping Apologies for the video quality After filming the video, I took removed the clear plastic in front of the screen, as its not firmly glued in place, and most of the problem with the display is black paint around the edge of the plastic. Scraping or sanding off the paint, leaves a frosted appearance around the edge of the screen, but it may be able to polish it to be clear again. Even with the edge being frosted its better than when it was black paint
