I was curious about how relevant recording 1080p was in a world that&introducing 6K consumer cameras. So I did a little test where I recorded some of the best 1080p via ProRes HQ and some of the “lesser” 4K with ProRes LT to see how they stack up. This isn&a "gotcha" test. It&just something to ease my curiosity. I was fairly surprised by the results especially since the S1H is a naturally "softer" image because of the new low pass filter. Similar to the kind of filters canon puts in front of their sensors. I did a second part to this test where I just upscaled the 1080p to 4k, which should be up on the channel by the time anyone possibly reads this. ha.
